Following the publication of the 2023-2024 ranking of Parisian gaming clubs drawn up by the SCCJ (Service Central des Courses et Jeux) on the basis of GGR (Growth Gaming Revenue) in Paris intra-muros, Club Pierre Charron has consolidated its position as leader since its opening and for the third year running.
Since January 1, 2018, a new legal framework for gambling in Paris has authorized Gaming Clubs, replacing the former Gaming Circles. Gaming Clubs offer all casino card games, excluding slot machines and roulettes.
By 2025, Paris has seven Gaming Clubs. Club Pierre Charron, the capital's newest club, opened its doors in July 2020. It is the first establishment created by Groupe Marval, a young French group reinventing land-based gambling.
In its 1st full fiscal year of operation in 2021-2022, Club Pierre Charron led the Paris market with €22.1m in GGR, representing a 20.6% market share.
In 2022-2023, Club Pierre Charron maintained its N°1 position with 28.4 M€ in GGR, up +28.1% on the previous year, or 23.2% market share.
In 2023-2024, Club Pierre Charron will consolidate its leadership with 30.6 M€ of GGR, up +7.8% on the previous year, for a market share of 24.8%, of a total Parisian market representing 123.3 M€ of PBJ (up +3.64%).
In terms of admissions too, Club Pierre Charron confirms its position as a benchmark club in Paris, with over 167,000 admissions in 2023-2024; total admissions to Parisian clubs reached 771,000 this year. Club Pierre Charron also attracts foreign and European tourists.
The authorization of Blackjack in November 2022 has introduced a new clientele to the Gaming Clubs. The introduction of jackpots for Blackjack and Ultimate Poker has also made it possible to offer great sensations and winnings.
In 2023-2024, no less than €3.2 million in Blackjack Blazing 7 and Ultimate Poker progressive jackpots were paid out to Club players.
The bar, restaurant and cigar lounge make Club Pierre Charron a real place to be, open late into the night (the restaurant closes at 5 a.m. and the gaming tables at 6.30 a.m.).
